Description

Helleborus x sternii is the hybrid between H. argutifolius and H. lividus.  This strain has been developed by Ashwood Nurseries in the UK and we have worked on it to select the best forms.  A lot of H. lividus influence in the intense silver veining but with a dramatic jagged edge to the foliage, pink stems and flowers.  A real attention grabber.  To about 30cm. As a hybrid of two Mediterranean species all variations of H. x sternii require well drained positions and good exposure to Winter Sun.
